You could wear them with a bodycon skirt (any color of your choice) a white or even black tank top, and low top black converse or other black flats. Hope this helps darling! And I don’t mind the questions at all :)

Well for shorts if you don’t like to wear denim, you could wear yoga shorts. I think they’re super cute and wicked comfy. There are also more materials that are comfortable, but yoga shorts are my favorite. Strappy sandals and flip flops of course are great for a comfy alternative to heels. Also, a romper or a sundress with some sandals are perfect outfits as well. They’re simple and super cute :)

Haha it’s fine xD anyway, you could always put a top (that covers the top party of the dress) over the dress to make it look like a skirt. I have a handful of friends that transform their dresses that way :)
